Purpose Driven Work: Our mission is to make pets happier by nurturing connection and understanding between pet, sitter, and owner. Your work gives pet owners and families great peace of mind! You're building bonds, ensuring safety, and working with high-drive animals that have a real job to do.
Growth: We don't do "stagnant." Some things you'll learn include animal behavior, body language, life-saving procedures, emergency procedures, and correct leash handling skills. As you get more dog walks and drop in visits under your belt, you'll have the opportunity for increased pay, admin tasks, and other projects, as well as continued education to improve your skill set.
Work-Life Integration: This isn't a traditional 9 to 5 job. We work when clients need us and there is no regularly scheduled shift work. As you grow with K9s In Camo, you'll have opportunity for more influence over your route and the number of visits you take on.

Physically Demanding: It's not always a walk in the park. You'll be on your feet, handling strong dogs, being jumped on, but also squatting, crouching, and bending.
High Stakes & High Standards: In this line of work, there is low margin for error. Animal welfare is involved and lives are at hand - this includes medication, being on time for visits (you can't not show up - animals are waiting on you to fulfill their physiological needs), securing homes, and extremely high attention to detail.
The "Dirty" Side: The job involves shedding, slobber, and the occasional "field cleanup," if you're picking up what I'm putting down.
Nature Doesn't Have A Thermostat: It's cold in the mornings. It's hot during the day. We work in all kinds of weather, chill, heat, rain or shine.

Comfortable using smartphones and app-based technology to track time and provide detailed report cards to clients
18+ years old
Ability to lift 50lbs and walk long distances
Pass a federal background check
Able to manage time efficiently
Reliable transportation and willing to travel throughout East Tucson - Eastside, Lower Catalina Foothills, Tanque Verde, DMAFB
Strong attention to detail
